Save Our Heritage purchased the house in August 2005 and gained access to the inside in late November 2005. Staff and volunteers did extensive landscaping in the fall and then worked on the inside over the winter. Emergency stabilization was done in the spring and summer as more detailed plans were being made. Repair of the North wall started in November 2006 and should finish in February 2008.
